"Fernando Albano" Sports Hall

The “Fernando Albano” Sports Hall is Torricella’s main indoor sports venue and one of the venues selected to host the 20th Mediterranean Games in Taranto in 2026. In preparation for this international event, it has been completely refurbished through safety improvements, energy efficiency measures and the modernisation of the interior spaces, with particular attention paid to accessibility and the quality of the areas dedicated to athletes and spectators. During the Games, it will host the shooting competitions, offering a modern facility that meets the standards required for international competitions. Once the event is over, the sports hall will continue to serve as a hub for sport and local organisations.
