PalaPentassuglia (Elio Pentassuglia Sports Hall)
The PalaPentassuglia, named after the legendary Brindisi coach Elio Pentassuglia, is the main sports arena in the city of Brindisi. Opened in 1981, it is the home of New Basket Brindisi and, over the years, has hosted major competitions in basketball, volleyball, boxing, fencing and gymnastics. Thanks to numerous expansion and refurbishment projects, the venue has become one of the most important indoor sports facilities in Puglia. During the 20th Mediterranean Games in Taranto in 2026, the arena will host the volleyball competitions, welcoming athletes and spectators from across the Mediterranean and reaffirming its status as a key venue for international sport.
