I Patagarri are a quintet from Milan who made their breakthrough on X Factor 2024 (Achille Lauro’s team). Starting out as buskers in Milan’s markets and squares, they transform songs into danceable, rousing gypsy jazz – known as ‘manouche’ – drawing inspiration from early 20th-century New Orleans, Django Reinhardt, Ray Charles and Paolo Conte, with a touch of rap. The name comes from a gag by the comedy trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo.
